Shymbulak Resort Hotel is a hotel in the high mountain resort of Shymbulak (Shymbulak Ski Resort or in Kazakh – Shymbulak).
It is located in the gorge of the Zailii Alatau Ile-Alatau National Park at an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level, 25 km from the center of Almaty.
Shymbulak Resort Hotel is located 100 meters from the lifts – gondola road “Medeu-Shymbulak” and chairlift Combi1. This makes it a convenient place for skiing, as well as starting excursions and trekking in the mountains. Thanks to the “Ski In/Ski out” system, when the ski slopes are located just a few meters from the entrance to the hotel, guests can comfortably use the infrastructure of Shymbulak Ski Resort.
The restaurant of the Shymbulak Resort Hotel “Saray-Bar” offers a varied menu of dishes of national, European, Russian, Uighur, Uzbek and Ukrainian cuisines. Their range and taste will appeal to even the most demanding gourmet.
Here you can try a real Uzbek pilaf cooked in a huge cauldron on a fire, delicious manti and shish kebab from lamb, pork, duck breast. Combined with the fresh mountain air and the fabulous landscapes of the Shymbulak resort, barbecue at Saray-Bar becomes a real gastronomic event.
Homely and cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere of a resort holiday. In the interior halls, the walls are decorated with edged beams in pastel white and green colors and decorated with various elements from the Soviet past. As in any shed, old rarities are collected here.
It is nice to sit here with friends after an active walk in the mountains or skiing on snowy slopes, drink hot mulled wine or something stronger, enjoy the excellent taste of barbecue, which, thanks to the constant kindling of the brazier, will be served to you in a maximum of 20-25 minutes, smoke a fragrant hookah and get inspired gorgeous view.

Currently, Shymbulak Ski Resort is a modern ski resort with 7 ski lifts, 20-kilometer length of ski slopes, some of which are with “snow cannons”.
From the city to the resort, tourists can climb the cable car, which is the third in the world in length (4.5 km).
Average temperature: +20C in summer, -7C in winter.
Ski season Shymbulak Ski Resort lasts from November to April.
The average thickness of the snow cover is up to 1.5 meters, the number of sunny days per year is more than 300!
Shymbulak Ski Resort lifts allow you to climb in 30 minutes from the lowest point of the resort – 2260 m above sea level, to the highest point – Talgar Pass at an altitude of 3163 m.
Modern VISIT CENTER GORELNIK is a place where everyone can find something of their own.
People often gather here in a company or alone to have breakfast in the early morning, have a workout, swim in a mountain spring or just enjoy the mountain nature.

For presentations, conferences, master classes, trainings and seminars, we are pleased to offer you a Conference hall for 50 seats.
The room is equipped with all the necessary equipment: a screen and a projector, a laptop and a presenter with a laser pointer, a magnetic whiteboard, an audio system.

Please note that due to the restriction of cars entering to Shymbulak resort since December 2023, you can reach Shymbulak Resort Hotel in the following ways:
1. From Medeu by gondola road “Medeu-Shymbulak”:
9:00 to 17:00
2. By electric cars from 6:00pm till 9:00am
