The “Saray-Bar” restaurant offers guests dishes from European, Central Asian, and signature cuisines. Combined with the fresh mountain air and enchanting landscapes of the “Shymbulak” resort, each visit to our restaurant will become a genuine gastronomic event for you.
Traditional Central Asian dishes such as Uzbek pilaf, cooked in a large cauldron over an open fire, delicious manty dumplings, and lamb or duck breast barbeque, will energize you before your active leisure time. Meanwhile, beloved European dishes like steaks, pasta, and seafood will offer you a new experience at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level.
Our restaurant provides a homely, unpretentious, and cozy atmosphere conducive to resort relaxation. The interior walls are adorned with trimmed pistachio-toned timber and various elements from the Soviet past, reminiscent of a rustic barn where vintage items are collected.
It’s pleasant to sit here with friends after a mountain hike or skiing on snow-covered trails. You can enjoy a hot mulled wine or something stronger, savoring the excellent taste of barbeque. Thanks to the continuous heating of the grill, it will be served to you within 20-25 minutes at the most.
Restaurant menu Bar menuShymbulak Mountain Resort is a modern ski resort with 10 lifts, 25 kilometers of ski slopes, some of which are equipped with snow cannons. Established in 1954 as a training base for Soviet skiers, Shymbulak Mountain Resort is the most famous destination for winter sports enthusiasts in Central Asia.
Located within the Ile-Alatau State National Park, which covers an area exceeding 200,000 hectares, the resort sits at an altitude ranging from 2000 to nearly 5000 meters above sea level. It serves as a natural habitat for unique plants and animals, including those listed in the Red Book.
The diversity of landscapes, ranging from steppe to alpine meadows, the sight of snow-capped peaks, unique natural monuments such as relic mossy spruce forests, waterfalls, high-mountain lakes, rocky glaciers, and cultural-historical sites attract hikers and horseback riders year-round. Rock climbers will find challenges in conquering peaks like Peak Abay (4010 m), Peak Nursultan (4376 m), Peak Amangeldy (4010 m), and Peak Molodezhny (4147 m).
Modern VISIT CENTER GORELNIK is a place where everyone can find something of their own.
People often gather here in a company or alone to have breakfast in the early morning, have a workout, swim in a mountain warm spring or just enjoy the mountain nature.

For presentations, conferences, master classes, trainings and seminars, we are pleased to offer you a Conference hall for 50 seats.
The room is equipped with all the necessary equipment: a screen and a projector, a laptop and a presenter with a laser pointer, a magnetic whiteboard, an audio system.
At your request, the sales department of Shymbulak Resort Hotel will promptly provide you with an offer for group meals (coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, gala dinners), show program options and leisure activities at the resort.
1.Bus №12 to the stop “Medeu Ropeway”
Then take the gondola “Medeu-Shymbulak”.
2.Bus №12 to Medeu Sports Complex stop
Then by shuttle bus ECO-BUS or Eco Taxi.
From Medeo station, take a cable car to the Shymbulak base station.

Please note that starting from December 2023, due to restrictions on vehicles with gasoline engines, access to Shymbulak Resort Hotel will be possible only with electric vehicles
